Affiliation to MMA-SA is essential to maintain accurate records of all active MMA gyms operating under our jurisdiction and to ensure compliance with MMA-SA’s standards.

Affiliation Details:
Affiliation Fee: R1,500.00 per gym per annum.

To support development gyms facing financial challenges, MMA-SA offers a concession program.  Gyms requiring financial assistance may submit a written motivation to the MMA-SA Board for review and approval.

Additional Compliance Requirements:
All coaches and relevant personnel must meet the following compliance standards and submit copies of the relevant certificates to MMA-SA after submitting the online application form:

• Criminal Background Check for all relevant personnel
• Sexual Offenders Check
• Child Protection Clearance
• Valid First Aid Certification

These requirements are non-negotiable and form part of MMA-SA’s commitment to upholding the safety, integrity and professionalism of MMA in South Africa.
